Why We're Different

Utah is known for being a wedding hot-spot. When your big day comes, you will have dozens of reception centers to choose from. You will probably go on several tours and then sit down and compare what you like about one reception center versus another. So we’ll try and save you a little bit of time by telling you now why we’re different.

• At The Canterbury Place, we keep a very neutral color scheme in our building. This helps ensure that no matter what colors the bride chooses, they won’t clash with our facilities.

• We offer a wide range of décor options. We have everything from Chinese lanterns, to ceilings swags, to tissue poms, to toppers, to sashes, to runners…the list goes on! So whether you want your wedding to be elegant, trendy, modern, or unique, we will be able to accommodate you.
  
  
• If we haven’t done it before, we are willing to try it! If you have a brand new idea that you want to feature at your wedding, we’ll do our best to make it happen. We love creative ideas!


• Through our reception center, you can get full packages! Our packages fit a wide range of brides, and they are flexible and customizable. We know that every bride is different, and we will make sure that you can get a good fit. We offer a variety of services, so you don’t have to run around town trying to find everything you need, including the cake, flowers, food, cake knife and server, guest book and pen, a limo, etc.


• We have the floor space to sit up to 300 people for a sit-down dinner. Not many facilities are large enough to accommodate that many people for a served meal!

• We are willing to bring in other fun vendors! We can have a company come serve ice cream, we can do photo booths, bring in ice sculptors, etc.


• We allow outside catering! We know that it’s hard to find a place that will allow you to use catering from other vendors, but we’ll work with you.


• We offer some fun, unique food options that will be unforgettable to your guests. We can do a crepe buffet, a hot cocoa bar, French patisseries, and other fun, distinctive options.

• When you book a package, you receive unlimited access to a wedding planner. She will work with you in the months leading up to your event, and help take the stress off of you. We want everything perfect for your special day!
  
• Our location in Bountiful is easy for guests to find. We are just a few blocks off of the 500 South exit!
